MAGWAY DIVISION – According to an accountable person of the Yaw District Tactical Command (YDTC) 81 in Yaw region, Magway division, they managed to capture three junta council troops alive who had run away from the Infantry battalion 274, Mindat, Chin state.
On December 30, three unarmed junta council troops: Zaw Myo Htut, Kyaw Latt and Hla Khaing who had fled from the Infantry battalion 274, near the artillery battalion, Kyaukhtu town, Saw township.
The accountable person of Yaw District Tactical Command 81 mentioned that “when we captured them, they didn’t have their weapons with them. They said that they hid their weapons on the way. At the moment, we detained them in the tactical command. We have reported to the district about them and we will continue to perform the procedures according to the procedures. I would like to appeal to the public to be war-conscious. I also would like to appeal to the junta council servants to enter the legal fold as soon as possible.”
It was known that YDTC 81 has detained those junta council troops in accordance with the prisoner of war act and has provided the necessary personal items and medical treatments.
Yaw District Tactical Command has issued that if the junta council troops who are currently serving under the junta council in Yaw region entered the legal fold along with their weapons under YDTC, they will be rewarded.
Moreover, the accountable person of Young Revolution Front (Y.R.F) mentioned that a junta council police from Yay Pyar police station has joined the legal fold under Y.R.F in Pauk township, Magway division.
It was known that a policeman from Yay Pyar police station had entered the legal fold under Y.R.F People’s Defence Organisation, Bo Nar Pauk Force, along with a G-3 rifle and 82 G-3 bullets.
The accountable person of Y.R.F continued that they managed to evacuate the mother of the police who joined civil disobedience movement (CDM). If there are any other troops who would like to join CDM, they can contact Y.R.F.
