MYANMAR (SOUTHERN) – People Defense Force (PDF) – Southern military region issued a statement on December 21 saying that the revolutionary alliance forces attacked the junta council camps 21 times, back-and-forth firefights broke out 8 times and the alliance forces conducted two camp-capturing battles, within December 14 and 20.
During those battles, besides 29 junta council troops being said to have been killed, 25 junta council troops were injured. Moreover, the revolutionary forces managed to confiscate seven MA pistols, two G3 rifles, one 60mm motor, sixteen cartridges, and 1270 bullets.
It was also stated in the statement that two comrades from the Revolutionary Alliance forces sacrificed their lives for the country and 11 comrades were injured. And one drone was also damaged.
