MANDALAY DIVISION – There have been 266 people abducted under the unjust conscription law of the atrocious junta council in seven townships of Mandalay Division from December 16 to 31, as reported by Mandalay Strike Force.
It was reported that in the last two weeks of December, 43 people in Aung Myay Tharzan township, 18 people in Chan Aye Tharzan township, 33 in Mahar Aung Myay township, 47 in Chan Mya Tharzi township, 46 in Pyigyi Takon township, 43 in Patheingyi township and 36 in Amarapura township were unlawfully abducted.
During the entire month of December, 391 people were unjustly abducted in seven townships. The data is based on the on ground available information so in reality the abductees could be more than the released data.
At a ward in Mahar Aung Myay township, over 100 youths have been unlawfully abducted since the atrocious conscription law was enacted.
