KAREN STATE – The accountable person of the People Defense Force Tactical Command 31 – Security Division mentioned that as two junta council troops from Aung Zay Ya column which has tried to recapture Myawaddy town, entered the legal fold under the tactical command 31, they (the revolutionary forces) awarded 1 million mmk to them.
It has been reported that two junta council troops under the junta council’s Aung Zay Ya column entered the legal fold under the Southern Military Region – Tactical Command 31, on the night of January 18. The Tactical Command 31 awarded 5 lakhs mmk to each of them (the surrenders).
The accountable person of the Tactical Command 31 Security Division mentioned that “they entered the legal fold on the night of January 18. They didn’t bring their weapons. At the moment, we keep them well. We awarded 5 lakhs mmk to each of them. We will warmly welcome the troops who will enter the legal fold in the future.”
The junta council troops from Aung Zay Ya column have continuously entered the legal fold under the revolutionary forces and the number of the junta council troops who entered the legal fold is over hundreds now.
