SAGAING DIVISION – The atrocious junta army launched artillery attacks and drone strikes on Kyauk Hmaw Village in Yinmarbin Township and Nwar Chan Kone in Kani Township, injuring three civilians, including a child, according to an information officer of Information and Communications Department (Source) of the Battalion 27.
On January 15, at around 2:10 p.m., the terrorist junta forces leaving from North Western Command and carrying out offensives on Kyauk Hmaw Village in Yinmarbin Township, fired three rounds of 120mm artillery shells from U Tha Pong Kai Village, and artillery shells landed in Kyauk Hmaw Village, injuring two people and destroying five residential houses.
A 32-year-old man was hit by the junta’s artillery shells, with a head injury and a 35-year-old man injured in his right hand. At 5:10 p.m., and 5:23 p.m., on the same day, heavy weapons were fired twice from the Shat Pyay Taung, which is the guard post of North Western Command.
Similarly, at around 3:30 p.m., on January 14, the junta army launched drone strikes from Shat Pyay Taung guard post of North Western Command, and the bombs dropped in Nwar Chan Kone in Kani Township, injuring a child.
A 7-year-old boy living in the village was reportedly injured in a drone attack by the terrorist army, with his right cheek being pierced.
