SAGAING DIVISION- Thousands of people are fleeing the war as the terrorist junta army is launching offensives on the villages along the Monywa-Ayartaw Road, according to the locals.
The locals have been fleeing the war for about 10 days, and the terrorist junta army has also taken some civilians as hostages.
“Residents from all the villages along the Monywa-Ayartaw Road have been fleeing. The number of war refugees may be around a thousand. Junta column is still on the Monywa-Ayartaw road and some civilians have been detained (as hostage),” said a local.
Those long-term war evacuees who fled from Ngwe Dwin village, Ayartaw township, and those war refugees along the Monywa-Ayartaw road were supported by the 5/ahyata Ayartaw public strike and 5/fundraising team today, on January 14.
The official of the 5/Ahyata Ayartaw public strike said that those who want to help the war refugees can contact them.
Local reported that the terrorist junta column is still in the Kyunphopin village, on the Monywa-Ayartaw Road section.
