MANDALAY DIVISION: It was reported that the junta’s army had attacked Myakanthar village and Htanpinkone village, Patheingyi township, Mandalay Division with heavy artilleries and airstrike. The attack resulted in a monk to get wounded.
Around 7 a.m. on December 19, the atrocious junta’s forces fired (4) heavy shells aiming at Myakanthar village. The attack caused a monk to be hit with the pieces of shell and to get wounded. Moreover, the building in monastery and a car were also destroyed.
Similarly, around 9 a.m. on December 19, the atrocious junta’s army launched the airstrike on Htanpinkone village. The conditions of the civilians’ casualties and the damages in the village have not been confirmed yet.
“Myakanthar village in Patheingyi township was recklessly attacked by (4) heavy artillery shells around 7 a.m. on December 19, which caused a monk to be wounded. Moreover, around 9 a.m. Htanpinkone village was attacked with jet fighter by the military dogs( nickname of Junta’s soldiers). The casualties of the civilians have not been confirmed yet, said by a responsible person of “Voice Of Mandalay.”
