MYANMAR – The Police Station in Salingyi, Sagaing Division was attacked with grenades dropped by drones, said Mr. Bike, the leader of Chindwin Dynamite People’s Defence Force (Salingyi).
It was reported that the revolutionary forces dropped bombs by drones on Salingyi Police Station at 6:45 a.m. on January 1.
Although there were casualties of atrocious junta soldiers from the attack, the numbers could not be confirmed yet. The revolutionary forces, on the other hand, could successfully retreat without any casualties.
“The number of casualties of junta military dogs (junta forces) is not confirmed yet. The bomb was dropped around the time we believed they would be in line to salute the flag. The bomb was known to have exploded in the Police Station but the casualties are not known. On the morning of January 1, they fired the guns from there. We have to attack with what we have, so it is not as effective as we would like it to be,” said Mr. Bike, the leader of Chindwin Dynamite People’s Defence Force (Salingyi).
He also requested the members of the revolutionary support families in the country and abroad to support their group to continue the battles and to manufacture the bombs used in the drone attacks.
The attack was cooperatively performed by Chindwin Dynamite People’s Defence Force (Salingyi) and Taungpanni(Red Wing) Special Guerrilla Force (Salingyi), Squadron 3 of Yinmarbin District Battalion 35.
Similarly, the buildings stationed by the atrocious junta soldiers from Military Defense Industry 2 in Myaing Township, Magway Division were also attacked with rockets, said by a responsible person of Barmahti Heavy Artillery Guerrilla Force (Myaing).
It was reported that Barmahti Heavy Artillery Guerrilla Force (Myaing) had attacked the buildings stationed by the atrocious junta soldiers from Military Defence Industry 2, Myaing Township with ten rockets at 1 a.m. on January 1.
The rockets fell on the buildings stationed by the atrocious junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militants and exploded. However, the casualties of the atrocious junta forces are not confirmed yet. Though the atrocious junta army fired back two shells of 60 mm heavy artillery, the revolutionary comrades could successfully retreat without any casualties.
