BAGO DIVISION – According to the accountable person of Bago district People’s Defense Organisation (BPDO), the fascist coup council attacked Nyaungpingyi village and Nattalin village in Kyauktakha township, using aircrafts, heavy weapons and drones, in Bago division. The junta council’s attacks killed a civilian and injured four civilians.
At around 8 p.m. on January 27, the fascist junta council troops who were stationed in Kwinchaungwa and Natthankwin villages in Ananpaw village tract, fired the heavy weapons (120mm motors) towards the civilian villages. The heavy weapon shelling landed and exploded in Nattalin village.
The junta council firing heavy weapon shelling landed over a house owned by Mr. Nga Tai in Nattalin village. Due to the explosion, Ms. Ei Ei Soe, his (the owner of the house) 14 years old daughter and Mrs. Pway, the mother of the house owner, were said to have been injured. At around 11:05 a.m. on January 28, Mrs. Pway was reportedly killed from the injuries.
The accountable person of BPDO mentioned that “as the junta council troops recklessly fired heavy weapons at around 8 p.m. on January 27, a heavy weapon shelling landed over the house owned by Mr. Nga Tai. Due to the shelling, the house was damaged. The 14 years old daughter, Ms. Ei Ei Soe was known to have been injured. The grandmother, Mrs. Pway was killed from the injuries.”
Similarly, on January 27, the coup council conducted aerial bombardments over Nyaungpingyi village in Shwe Kyin township, Bago division, three times. The fascist council also fired 20 rounds of heavy weapons and conducted drone bomb attacks six times. Due to those attacks, three civilians were injured and two monasteries were damaged.
The accountable person continued that “the junta council also conducted aerial bombardments over Nyaungpingyi village in Shwe Kyin township three times and fired 20 rounds of heavy weapons. Those attacks destroyed two monasteries. Moreover, the fascist council conducted drone bomb attacks six times. Due to the drone attacks, three civilians suffered minor injuries.”
The revolutionary forces also warned the civilians to be cautious as the junta council has conducted heavy weapon attacks and aerial bombardments over the villages in Ayeyarwaddy division without ongoing battles.
