MANDALAY DIVISION – According to the local residents, the fascist junta council conducted aerial bombardment over Tharkyin Village in Nganzun Township, Mandalay Division on the night of December 31, 2024. Due to the junta council’s aerial attack, five members of a family were said to have been killed but only two of the dead bodies were recovered intact while the other three dead bodies were destroyed with only flesh and body parts scavenged.
At around 9:45 p.m. on December 31, the inhumane junta council bombed Tharkyin Village without ongoing battles. The bombs dropped by the junta council’s aircrafts landed and exploded in the village and the explosion killed five members of a family of seven while the remaining two family members were injured. Only two out of five dead bodies were undamaged while the other three dead bodies were destroyed by the explosion.
A local civilian mentioned that “the junta council dropped two bombs in Tharkyin Village that landed over a house near the monastery. Five out of a family of seven were killed and the house was also destroyed. Two family members were injured severely. Only two dead bodies could be found and the other three dead bodies were destroyed. Only the flesh and body parts could be found.”
Moreover, due to the junta council’s bombardment, five residential houses were damaged and nine cows were also killed in Tharkyin Village.
Similarly, when the fascist junta council bombarded Tharkyin Village on December 6, two revolutionary comrades were killed and two comrades were injured. Moreover, one school building and five residential houses were damaged and four cows were killed. The coup council has frequently conducted aerial bombardments over the villages in Nganzun Township.
