NAY PYI TAW – The Terrorist War Council has formed a 23-member team to ensure that PDFs and weapons are not able to be brought into Nay Pyi Taw, and is leading them, according to Nay Pyi Taw Council sources.
It is to ban the illegal shipments of weapons and ammunition into Nay Pyi Taw since July 18th. They are starting to work to ensure that there is no access at all. A 23-member group has been formed to implement the process, and the group is to prevent illegal trade in addition to arms and ammunition trafficking.
The 23-member special team is led by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, retired Lieutenant General Than Tun Oo as the team leader and Colonel Ye Moe, Zeya Lin, Khin Maung San, Police Colonel Zaw Min Oo, Lieutenant Colonel Zeya Min were participated.
As a special team, it is to supervise and inspect the illegal weapons and ammunition as well as goods entered into Nay Pyi Taw. It is learned that inspection and action will be taken by casual inspection without any fixed day and time, to carry out strict inspections.
In addition, an inspection and enforcement committee was formed to prevent people from entering Nay Pyi Taw via railways, and the Nay Pyi Taw Police, general administration staff and the railway police.
