BAGO DIVISION – An official from Brave Warriors for Myanmar (BWM) reported that the junta council’s Southern Command and Air Base in Taungoo Township were attacked with 107mm missiles that potentially resulted in casualties of terrorist junta forces.
The Southern Command in Taungoo was attacked with four missiles around 11 p.m. on December 11 and two missiles exploded on target, potentially damaging junta troops.
Junta Southern Command is responsible for the orders to brutally murder the revolutionary forces and innocent civilians in Bago Division, northern Karen State and bordering regions. It is said that the attack aimed to cause a shift in the revolution and that directly attacking the Command intends to weaken the forces under its chain of command.
Similarly, Kaytumani Air Base in Taungoo was also attacked with five 107mm missiles around the same time and three of the missiles exploded on the target. The Air Base was attacked as a mission to take down the junta air force for its repeated targeted attacks on the civilians and revolutionary forces.
The reported attacks were carried out by the cooperation of Mountain Knight Civilians Defence Forces, Anti Coup People’s Liberation Force and Northern Thandaung Special Region Team, under the command of Brave Warriors for Myanmar.
