MYANMAR – Student Armed Force – SAF has announced on Wednesday, January 1, that it will conduct high-speed military operations in the Myelatt and Ahnyar regions (Central Myanmar), where the military council’s main military bases are stationed.
It said that it will conduct military operations by applying the training, military, intelligence, operational and organizational experiences learned from Ethnic Armed Resistance Organizations.
“Since there are junta’s major military bases and Defence Product Industries in central Myanmar, it means that we, the SAF, will penetrate the enemy’s main sources. So, the current extent of our penetration has been able to carry out guerrilla operations in those areas to a certain extent. We are aiming to fight more strategic battles in 2025,” said Mr. Min Latt Okkar, Chief-of-staff of SAF.
The SAF is based in Rakhine State and is conducting guerrilla and military operations in Magway and Sagaing divisions.
The statement also said that 2025 is an important year for the formation of a revolutionary army to be able to carry out operations effectively, and that political and military consultations will be held to implement them.
Chief-of-staff of SAF said that he hopes to bring good news to the people as soon as they can penetrate central Myanmar, threatening the junta bases and Defence Product Industries.
The statement also states that the Student Armed Force – SAF will fight together with the people until the end of the revolutionary war to form a united revolutionary army, eradicate dictators, and establish a new state.
