MAGWAY DIVISION – An official from Daung Nyinaung Urban Guerrilla Force reported that the revolutionary forces have rescued and sheltered the residents of Peikse Village who had fled from the reckless assaults of the junta council troops in Salin Township.
On January 21, the terrorist junta soldiers from Thitkhauktaung Camp, for no reason, recklessly fired their weapons at the villages, and afraid of the junta raids and arsons, the residents of Peikse Village fled into the woods and we’re rescued and sheltered by the revolutionary forces.
“We, Daung Nyinaung Urban Guerrilla Force and Minbu District Battalion 5, managed to rescue the people of Peikse Village who fled into the woods, scared by the reckless assaults of the junta dogs (junta forces) near Thitkhauktaung Camp. Also, we, the Daung Nyinaung Urban Guerrilla Force, plan to accelerate our operations so we’d like to request the people to steer clear of the Pathein-Monywa Road section between Thitkhauktaung Camp and Kanbya Police Station. We are also in need of aids for the displaced people from Peikse Village,” said the official form Daung Nyinaung Urban Guerrilla Force.
It is said that Daung Nyinaung Urban Guerrilla Force and Minbu District Battalion 5 are sheltering the rescued displaced people and that rations are urgently required for the displaced people.
Daung Nyinaung Urban Guerrilla Force also advised the people to avoid the Pathein-Monywa Road section between Thitkhauktaung Camp and Kanbya Police Station as they plan to accelerate military operations.
