MAGWAY DIVISION – An official from Victor Guerrilla Force said that they destroyed the fields of beans belonging to the junta forces at Kanni Village in Myaing Township.
The revolutionary forces set up sentries and destroyed the fields at the Pyu Saw Htee base on January 9 morning.
There are around 70 junta soldiers, police and Pyu Saw Htee militants in Kanni Village. It is said that the entire village of Kanni Village is a base of Pyu Saw Htee militia and that there are around 200 family members of the militants. Although the revolutionary forces have cut off their ration routes for months now, none of them have surrendered.
“It was planted for food by the junta forces at Kanni Pyu Saw Htee base. We invaded and destroyed the fields of beans. Our forces were able approach around 120 meter to the village, set up sentries and destroyed the fields. There was no battle,” explained the official from Victor Guerrilla Force.
The mission was carried out by the members of Victor Guerrilla Force and Anyar Myay Guerrilla Force.
