MAGWAY DIVISION – The Revolutionary Forces reportedly attacked the junta column heading Laung Shey Town and fleeing from Kanpetlet Town, killing four capturing two alive, and seizing four weapons, according to People Defence Force -SAW, Gangaw District Battalion – 3.
The joint terrorist junta column with 54 forces, junta soldiers of Defence Product Industry and Infantry Battalion and police forces stationed at Saw police station, were intercepted on their way by the Revolutionary Forces, while they were heading Laung Shey Town, on December 30.
During the attack, one junta soldier was killed, one was captured alive and three were seriously injured. And also, one MA-2 gun and ammunition were seized.
On December 31, the Revolutionary Forces attacked that terrorist junta column again, killing two, capturing one alive, seizing one MA-2 gun, one MA-3 gun, one G-3 gun and ammunition.
The attack was jointly carried out by Gangaw District Battalion – 3, Battalion – 5, Battalion – 6, Magway Division Drone Unit, and the Minbu District Combat Team.
Similarly, at around 3 p.m., on December 23, the Revolutionary Forces pursued and attacked the junta column that included the terrorist junta soldier deserting from Kanpetlet Town and their families, killing a policeman and injuring four others, including a captain.
The mission was jointly carried out by Gangaw District Battalion – 3, Battalion – 5, Battalion – 6, and Magway Division Drone Unit.
