MANDALAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta council bombed Kyaungoh Village in Zagyan Village Tract, Taungtha Township, damaging two homes and the extent of damage is still being investigated, said an official from People’s Movement Committee Taungtha.
The junta airstrike took place around 8:30 a.m. on November 12 and the bomb landed on a house to the south of the school in Kyaungoh Village.
“Revolutionary forces attacked the (junta) camp at Zagyan (Village) for around 50 minutes starting 5:30 a.m. Two houses were damaged by the aerial bombing. It is still being investigated if there were any civilian casualties,” said the official from People’s Movement Committee Taungtha.
It is said that terrorist junta forces arrived at Kanmyal-Zagyan Intersection following the attack and carried out strict checks while around 25 junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee militants also conducted searches at Bienwekone Rest House on the Myingyan-Nyaung U Road near Zagyan Intersection.
In addition, at around 8 a.m. on November 12, around 30 junta forces were seen to the east of Myoba Village, marching towards Zagyan along the Waelaung-Zagyan Road and the terrorist junta forces at Phayarhla Village also moved towards Chonegyi and so the People’s Movement Committee Taungtha has advised the people to stay vigilant.
