BAGO DIVISION- The People’s Defense Forces (PPDF – 3601 Battalion ) reportedly intercepted and attacked the terrorist column that came to reinforce the Nat Thein Gone Junta army base in Paungde Township, Pyay District. Four enemies were reportedly injured and had to be taken out on stretchers.
On December 4, around 5:30 p.m., the junta column, of about fifty soldiers from Kwinkyel camp, Natalin Township, was attacked on their way by landmines near Kyay Phyukwin Village, Theingon village group, Paungde Township.
Paungde People’s Defense Forces
stated that four terrorist soldiers were injured and taken back to the Theingone army camp when the PDF Company (2) intercepted and attacked them with mines and fired small arms.
Investigations are still ongoing to confirm the death of the terrorist soldiers who got injured in the attack.
In the junta’s indiscriminate firing, a citizen suffered minor injuries, and people defense force members!s were able to complete the mission without any harm.
