SAGAING DIVISION – Ko Baik, leader of the Chindun Dynamite People’s Defense Force (Salingyi), said that the police station and general administration office where the terrorist army was stationed in Salingyi city, Sagaing Division, were bombed by drones for two days in a row.
The Revolutionary Forces attacked using drone bombs to where about 100 junta council troops were stationed. The attacks were carried out on 4:35 p.m. on January 21st and 7:10 a.m. on January 22nd. The casualties of the junta council troops couldn’t be confirmed. The revolutionary comrades managed to retreat without any harm.
“We attacked Salingyi police station and the general administration office in the main attack. This morning, there were about 100 military dogs in the two locations. The explosions were inside the camp and they returned fire with small arms for quite a long time. There were more than 100 war dogs together. We dropped five on the first day and eight this morning. We cannot confirm their deaths. There have been returned fire from war dogs. They shot with small arms and also with drones. There is not enough ammunition to fight. Mainly because of the high cost of bombs, we couldn’t do as much as we want,” the leader said.
In order to continue the fight, Ko Baik urged the public, both local and abroad to help and support the production of drone bombs.
The attack was carried out by four allied forces including the Chindwin Dynamite People’s Defense Force (Salingyi), the 35th Battalion, 3rd Company, Red Wing Special Guerrilla Force (Salingyi), the 35th Battalion, 3rd Company, 1st squadron(5/Fighter Group (Monywa)), SOLO AUNG GYI (Salingyi) worked together.
