BAGO DIVISION- A PDF official from Thayarwaddy district told the locals to be prepared for the possibility of city-occupation battles as junta columns in the Bago Yoma region are planning for offensives.
It is known that the terrorist army is preparing to enter the Townships in Thayarwaddy District bordering Bago Mountain Ranges(Yoma), such as Lepantan, Minhla, Moe Nyo, Oakpho, Kyopinkauk, Zeekone, and Nattalin Towns.
The revolutionary forces have warned that if the terrorist army enters the Bago border, the fights may intensify and the city-occupation battles may occur and thus locals should be prepared.
At present, the terrorist army is carrying out aerial reconnaissance on the Bago border. Fighter jets are continuously hovering and the revolutionary forces are also monitoring the military conditions.
“People be prepared as a fight can happen at any time in both rural areas and in the city. It could even lead to a city occupying battle, so we need to keep an eye on the situation,” said an official of Thayarwaddy District PDF.
In 8 townships in Thayarwaddy District, junta’s 77th and 101st Military Divisions formed 4 columns as per the instructions, and they are planning for Special Operations to recapture the control area.
