SAGAING DIVISION – Pale Township People’s Administration Body (PAB) is reported to have visited the displaced people, CDM employees and people who fled forces conscription from around the area of Kyaw Town in Gangaw Township Magway Division, and offered them encouragement and aid on New Year’s Day.
It is said that the leader of Pale Township PAB and the Township Humanitarian Officer led the visit.
The Pale Township Humanitarian Officer reportedly provided the people 73 lakhs in cash from the donations and the township humanitarian funding, and around 135 lakhs Kyats in clothing, blankets, rice, oil and teaching aids for children.
“The regional PAB leader, humanitarian officer, PAB and PDF members joined the trip. As it is a new displaced camp, there are many lacking areas and I would like to request the people to help them,” said the humanitarian officer.
It is estimated that around 250 displaced people from Gangaw Township are taking shelter in Pale Township of Sagaing Division.
