MYANMAR – Since the terrorist junta army seized power, they had controlled only 21% of the area among more than 14,000 villages in Myanmar as of mid-November 2024, according to the BBC.
As of mid-November 2024, the Revolutionary Forces and Ethnic Armed Groups controlled 42% of the country’s territory.
The remaining areas are in a state of war and are in a state of uncertainty which side will be controlled.
According to the US-based Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), the terrorist army has suffered a major setback since 1962.
The terrorist army is losing ground largely due to strong cooperation between the People’s Defence Forces and Ethnic Revolutionary Organizations.
