SAGAING DIVISION – The Northwestern Military Headquarter based in Monywa Town was being attacked with 107 mm rockets, and the terrorist army returned fire with heavy weapons on villages, a local military news source reported.
The mentioned junta council’s military command was attacked by revolutionary forces using four 107 mm rockets and two of them were reportedly exploded inside the military headquarter on the evening of January 14.
The extent of damage to the Northwestern Military Command has not yet been confirmed. After being attacked, the terrorist army returned fire with heavy weapons on civilians’ villages, and it is not yet confirmed whether there were any casualties.
In addition, the terrorist council soldiers in military columns are also raiding villages near the Northwestern Military Command and sending drones to conduct reconnaissance.
“It is known that the revolutionary forces fired four 107 mm into Northwestern Military Command last night (14 January). Two rockets reportedly exploded on target. Shortly after the explosion, the junta thugs from Artillery Corps fired heavy weapons towards villages. We don’t know yet whether the people have been injured. The junta columns were also seen coming out of the vicinity of military command. They also conducted reconnaissance using drones. I think the relevant groups will release more details,” said a local resident.
