SAGAING DIVISION- Myaing Township People’s Defense Force under the Military Area Command (1) of the NUG Ministry of Defense, issued a notice (on January 4) not to sell weapons and ammunition belonging to the organization for one’s benefit.
The weapons obtained during the revolution came from the sweat of our people. It is not appropriate to sell them due to personal difficulties (or a crisis in a force).
If there were unavoidable problems, the people’s administrative forces and those in charge of the defense forces in nearby zones of the township, village, and circuit, can be asked for help.
The notice also stated that if any sales of weapons and ammunition are reported or abuse has been committed, the respective township organization’s leaders and the trusted and respected public figures will take appropriate action against the assailants.
