MAGWAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta council has urgently deployed its reinforcements to all Defence Product Industries in Magway Division, fearing attacks by Revolutionary Forces from Rakhine State, according to a military news source.
Since December 20, all Defence Product Industries (KaPaSa) in Magway Division have been reinforced beyond their current strength. The reinforcements have been sent to the Defence Product Industries from nearby towns, and helicopters are being used to deliver reinforcements to areas under land control of Revolutionary Forces.
“The junta army has been increasing its military reinforcements as they are afraid of the Revolutionary Forces’ attacks on Defence Product Industries. In addition to planting a halt number of land-mines around the industries, they are also building more bunkers, maximizing rations, weapons and ammunition, and soldiers at the same time,” said a military source in Nay Pyi Taw.
The main concern is that the Revolutionary Forces from Rakhine State will penetrate the Defence Product Industries in Magway Division.
The military junta has increased security at the Defence Product Industries in Magway Division, including No. 2 Defence Product Industry, No. 8 Defence Product Industry, No. 10 Defence Product Industry, No. 12 Defence Product Industry, No. 13 Defence Product Industry, No. 14 Defence Product Industry, No. 15 Defence Product Industry, No. 17 Defence Product Industry, No. 18 Defence Product Industry, No. 20 Defence Product Industry, No. 21 Defence Product Industry, No. 22 Defence Product Industry, No. 23 Defence Product Industry, No. 24 Defence Product Industry and No. 25 Defence Product Industry, a total of 15 Defence Product Industries.
