MANDALAY DIVISION: “Mandalay People’s Defence Force (MDY- PDF) officially welcomed and invited the new revolutionary forces to form Sagaing Division New Brigade,” announced by Mr. Osmond, a spokesman of MDY- PDF.
MDY PDF will form Sagaing Division New Brigade and cooperate with the revolutionary forces in Sagaing Division to perform the military operations. In coming 2025, in Sagaing Division, new brigade of MDY PDF will be formed to intensify the military operations and the allied revolutionary comrades and revolutionary forces are welcomed to join Sagaing Brigade. MDY- PDF is ready to cooperatively perform the military operations with the revolutionary forces in Sagaing Division, said by Mr. Osmond, a spokesman of MDY- PDF.
“We have already established the necessary preparations, discussions, negotiations and forming alliances to form New Sagaing Brigade. Moreover, we warmly welcome the coming revolutionary forces. Currently, in terms of Sagaing Brigade, the establishment and the military operations are not being planned to announce,” he explained.
MDY PDF is the revolutionary force which continuously aims to achieve federal democracy and to obliterate the military dictatorship. MDY PDF along with the revolutionary alliances performed the huge military operation which hugely impacted the atrocious junta’s council in the whole year 2024 and achieved the large area of controlled region.
Currently, MDY PDF controlled region is geographically related to some regions in Sagaing division. So we need to consider Sagaing region for upcoming military operations. This is why we arranged to form Sagaing Brigade. In other words, it is one of our procedures to perform the intensifying military operations in 2025,” explained by Mr. Osmond, a spokesman of MDY- PDF.
MDY PDF is a revolutionary army which has performed many military operations to capture the towns in northern Shan state including capturing Mogok, cooperating with Ta’ang National Liberation Army- TNLA.
