MANDALAY DIVISION- The People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) Commander-in-Chief announced that they had completely seized three villages in the western part of Mattara Township last Monday (December 9).
On December 6, PDF (Mandalay) attacked the junta forces in the villages in the western part of Mattara Township from where the revolutionary forces retreated.
Today, Ywarthit, Wunsu, and Hteinpin Sauk Villages on the west side of Mattaya Township were recovered by the resistance forces, and some ammunition from junta forces was reportedly seized.
Moreover, on the night of December 2, a fight broke out when a terrorist military council column entered Myokone village in the eastern part of Mattaya Township, which is controlled by PDF (Mandalay). A prisoner of war and some weapons were seized and seven bodies of junta forces have reportedly recovered after the battle.
