KAREN STATE – On the 36 anniversary of the 88 Uprising, the Karen National Union KNU sent a message to the entire public to continue to fight against the dictators in Myanmar.
The message urges the entire people to unite and continue the revolutionary struggle from all sectors for the establishment of a Federal Democratic Union and eliminate the military dictatorship, which is the only way to save the failing country.
The 88 Uprising, occurred 36 years ago, is an unforgettable public uprising and a historical milestone in the fight against the one-party dictatorship and demanding democracy.
The Karen National Union has expressed that it pays tribute to all the blood, sweat, and lives sacrificed by the students who fought against the one-party dictatorship and the military dictatorship that transformed from that system.
