NORTHERN SHAN STATE – It is reported that a municipal office has been opened in Nanhpakka, Kutkai Township, which is controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA).
A news agency based in Kachin reported that KIA opened a municipal office for the urban development in Kachin Sub-State region, on August 8 at around 9:30 a.m.
In Nanhpakka Town, under the KIA government, Schools, People’s Hospitals, Immigration Offices, Anti-Drug Organizations, Local Defence Forces, Police stations, and Municipal welfare offices are opened and the urban project is being implemented as planned.
