SAGAING DIVISION – An official of the Yae Nagar People Defense Force said that the terrorist junta council soldiers were injured in a close-range attack on a convoy coming from the 33rd Division of Sagaing City, Sagaing Division.
At around 12:13 p.m. on January 22nd, revolutionary soldiers from the Yae Nagar People Defense Force attacked a convoy consisting of more than 50 military vehicles from Sagaing City’s 33rd Division between Chaung U and Nat Yekan.
“During the attack, the 7th vehicle was hit, and the terrorist junta council soldiers were injured, but the remaining military vehicles arrived later, so the number of casualties has not yet been confirmed. It is estimated that more than 50 junta council vehicles in the convoy and they were attacked between Chaung U and Nat Yekan. The seventh junta council vehicle was attacked with small arms at close range. The war dog vehicle was stopped on the spot. Because of the rest of the war dog cars arrived, the death of the war dog could not be confirmed. Our comrades were able to withdraw without harm,” said an official of the Yae Nagar People Defend Force.
Similarly, on January 21st, at around 10:46 am, 3 military vehicles came out of Monywa city’s Northwestern Command headquarters were attacked. As the people were being arrested as porters and loaded on the car, the revolutionary forces attacked with mines between Chaung U and Nat Yekan but fearing that the people would be harmed, so they detonated as warning to the car so as not to hit it.
Yae Nagar People Defense Force appeals to the people to travel with caution as the terrorist army has been repeatedly arresting and sending them to army wherever they go.
