BAGO DIVISION- A soldier in charge of the Taungoo Urban Revolutionary Force (Ma.Ta. Ah) stated that the terrorist military council soldiers, who were guarding the Royal Kaytumati Hotel, near Kandawgyi Lake, where the Bago District Prime Minister was staying, were bombed.
At around 7:30 p.m. on August 7, Taungoo-based urban resistance forces attacked the terrorist junta soldiers who were taking security duty at the Royal Kaytumati Hotel where the Prime Minister of Bago was staying.
“Around 7:30 p.m., the security soldiers, deploying at the Royal Kaytumati Hotel near Kandawgyi Lake where Bago Prime Minister staying, were attacked by landmines. Our resistance forces were able to retreat unharmed. We are still investigating the aftermaths of the attack,” said the commander in charge of the Taungoo Urban Revolutionary Forces (Ma.Ta.Ah).
