MAGWAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta council forces murdered two civilians and abducted another one in Chauk Township around 8 a.m. on January 15, according to Chauk Township People’s Defence Force (PDF).
The two murdered victims and the abducted person were all from Htainsan Village and are said to be around 30 years old.
“They were shot in the head from the back. Their faces are all ruined and even the brains had leaked out,” said UC, an official from Chauk Township PDF.
He added that the two murdered victims were killed after they ran into the terrorist junta forces near the clinic in the village during the battle.
Around 100 junta forces that departed from the junta camp in Konegyi Village clashed against the revolutionary forces from Chauk Township Revolutionary Coalition near Htainsan Village for about four hours at past 6 a.m. on January 15.
“The fighting started around 6:45 a.m. near Htainsan Village. They retreated around 10:30 a.m.,” said the PDF official.
Meanwhile, the abducted person was said to have been taken to the junta camp at Konegyi Village which is around five miles from Htainsan Village and has not been released yet as of January 16 morning.
