MAGWAY DIVISION – An official from Htin Township People’s Defence Force (PDF) reported that there were junta casualties after junta camps in Htilin were attacked with missiles and over 100 grenades dropped from drones.
On January 6 from morning till the afternoon, places stationed by junta forces including the Taung Police Station, singles dormitory, agriculture office, general administration office, bank office and the broadcast hill were attacked with missiles, 60mm shells and over 100 drone grenades.
The attacks effectively landed on targets and the casualties and damages to junta forces are still under investigation.
“We don’t know the exact junta casualties yet. We are still investigating. The junta column from Htilin frequently raids the villages near the town and commits murder, arson and abduction. We also want to tell those junta forces who wish to escape the junta council to quickly do so and enter the people’s embrace,” said the official from Htilin Township PDF.
The attack was carried out by the collaboration of Township and district battalions under Strategy 81 of Gangaw District, Magway Division, District PDO, Township PSF and Yaw Ayeyar (Ka Pa Sa) and the revolutionary forces were able to return unharmed.
