SAGAING DIVISION – Local people reported that junta planes bombed the area around Nattgyi Village in Kani Township although there was no battle.
Junta jets that took off from Meikhtila and Tada U air bases reportedly bombed Nattgyi Village, located around four miles from Kani Town, on December 3rd night but the residents of the village were fortunately unharmed as they managed to flee in advance.
“The planes that carried out the attack are said to be from Meikhtila and Tada U bases. They scouted the area by planes since the afternoon. The first attack happened after 7 p.m., followed by a second attack around 8 p.m. and the third attack after 11 p.m. They targeted the lebbeck tree near Yonepin Port at the south of the village and the southeastern part of the village. The residents fled in advance so there were no casualties,” said a resident of Nattgyi Village.
Junta jets previously bombed Nattgyi Village on March 5, 18 and 29.
