MAGWAY DIVISION – The terrorist junta forces raided Hpet Ka Nar Village in Seikphyu Township, without a reason and burned down the village, destroying carts, motorbikes and 37 residential houses, according to locals.
On December 26, the terrorist junta column with around 30 forces leaving from No. 22 Defence Product Industry, invaded and set on fire Hpet Ka Nar Village.
“There were no arrests. The residents ran away as soon as the military forces arrived, so there was no fighting. They burned the village without any reason, and then returned to No. 22 Defence Product Industry,” said a resident.
After the terrorist junta army had burned down Hpet Ka Nar Village, they retreated to No. 22 Defence Product Industry at around 1:00 p.m., on December 26. Locals said that about 250 people had been forced to flee due to the terrorist army’s invasion and arson attacks in the village.
