BAGO DIVISION – The terrorist junta council abducted four civilians from Chaunggwa Village in Oakpho Township then murdered them over night and their bodies were found discarded near the village, reported Comrade Duyar, the information officer of Tharyarwaddy District Battalion 3802.
Around six armed terrorist junta forces in civies raided Chaunggwa (Gyi) Village in Oakpho Township and abducted Mr. Kalar, Mr. Khin Soe, Mr. Min Lwin and Mr. Soe Gyi on December 6 night then took them to the military security force office in Oakpho.
Then at around 2 a.m., the terrorist junta forces brought them back by car and murdered the four civilians near the hill to the west of Thaekonelay palm toddy shop in Chaunggwa (Gyi) Village Tract then discarded their bodies.
Meanwhile, junta lobbyists have been falsely claiming on their Telegram channels that the murders were done by PDF forces.
“We PDF forces have accountability for our actions. We never harm innocent civilians. Those who associate with the junta council and trouble the people, those involved in the junta mechanism and those who are part of the Pyu Saw Htee militia or send information to the junta council, even when we get rid of those types of people, we take accountability and issue notices. The junta council not claiming responsibility for their actions and falsely blaming the PDF like this just show that they are atrocious criminals,” said Comrade Duyar.
When PDF forces attacked the junta patrols including Captain Win Thein and Corporal Tin Aung from light infantry 6 on December 4, the retreating junta forces abducted and killed four civilians who were working in the fields on their path of retreat.
