MYANMAR- The National Unity Government’s Interim President Duwa Lashi La says prayers for Christmas, which is a special day for Christians, on December 25th.
“As our country, when we are in the revolutionary struggle to end the military dictatorship, there are comrades who are going through the Christmas season while shouldering the revolutionary responsibilities. On the other hand, as the military council continues to lose in battles, our people were targeted and attacked. Mothers and children are forced to leave their homes and spend the Christmas season with insecurities and worries,” said the acting President.
“As all Myanmar civilians deserve to enjoy Christmas like the rest of the world, in a peaceful, warm, and secure environment, we must work hard and unceasingly to achieve the goal of the revolution as intended,” the Acting President announced.
“This Christmas, may all the people whom I love be peaceful and happy. To be loved and enjoy warmth and freedom. Merry Christmas to you all,” the acting president sends his prayers.
