SAGAING DIVISION – Four new junta soldiers who had fled from atrocious junta council’s military base in Myaing, Magway Division were reportedly caught alive, said by a responsible person of Pakkoku District Battalion 15.
The four junta soldiers had fled from the military base in Myaing and were caught alive on the morning of January 11 by the patrolling soldiers of the revolutionary forces.
The four are known to be from Naypyitaw and Ayeyarwaddy Divisions. They were reportedly forcibly conscripted after being abducted by the atrocious junta army.
They had been given three months of military training by the atrocious junta army in Naypyitaw. They were then sent to Infantry Unit- 259 (Yesagyo) under Infantry Division 101 before being sent to Myaing. It is said that they had participated in Thayet Kwa battle as well.
“They were captured on the morning of January 11. All four are known to be from different regions, Naypyitaw and Ayeyarwaddy. They had attended military training in Naypyitaw for three months. Later, they were sent to Infantry Unit- 259 (Yesagyo) under Infantry Division 101 then to Myaing. They were also known to have took part in the battle at Thayet Kwa,” said a responsible person of Pakkoku District Battalion 15.
The captured of the four junta soldiers was cooperatively performed by Pakkoku District Battalion 15 and the local People’s Defence Organisations such as Nagarni (Red Dragon) Force, Sinn Yine (Wild Elephant) Force and Linn Mway (Common Rat Snake) Force.
