MAGWAY DIVISION – After the revolutionary forces captured the Pyu Saw Htee base at Yaylarlay Village in Pakokku Township, the terrorist junta forces raided and torched Yaylargyi Village, reported an official from Anyar Myay Coalition.
The terrorist junta forces from the junta station at Nyaunghitpin Village reportedly raided and set fire to Yaylargyi Village that is located next to Yaylarlay Village starting around 1 p.m. on December 13.
It is said that the junta forces carried out the raid and arson although there was no confrontation on the ground and it is unable to confirm the damages in the village or if there were any casualties.
“The junta dogs (junta forces) started torching the village around 1 p.m. There was no battle. The junta dogs from Nyaunghitpin started the fire. They are wrecking havoc because they suffered defeat in the battle on December 11. The details of civilian casualties and damages in the village are not yet known,” said the official from Anyar Myay Coalition.
Revolutionary forces led by No. 8 Column attacked the junta and Pyu Saw Htee station at Yaylarlay Village around 6 a.m. on December 11 and after battling for around one and a half hour, killed six terrorist junta forces, captured seven alive and confiscated 18 weapons and a large number of ammunition.
