
On June 20, the Youth Power Strike Column, together with local residents in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region, conducted a public protest against the military dictatorship. The protesters marched boldly carrying banners demanding the release of State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and calling for nationwide liberation. Local residents stated that anti-coup movements within Yinmabin Township would continue until the military dictatorship system is completely eliminated.
The Youth Power Strike Column has been traveling to villages throughout the township, meeting with civilians and mobilizing opposition against the military dictatorship system. Protesters demanded the complete elimination of the military dictatorship, the release of all political prisoners, and the establishment of a federal democratic system. They also called for an end to the suffering of civilians, economic decline, and human rights violations caused by the military dictatorship system.
Despite the military council’s various forms of oppression and interference against anti-dictatorship movements in Yinmabin Township, people continue to resist fearlessly. The Youth Power Strike Column, supported by local residents, continues to march through villages and towns, demonstrating their united commitment to fighting against the military dictatorship system until it is abolished.
