This movement aimed to expose the military council’s violence against the public and demand justice for their actions.
The Youth Power Strike Column, together with local civilians, peacefully protested against the military council’s oppression and demanded accountability for human rights violations, acts of violence against civilians, arbitrary arrests and detentions, and other criminal acts committed by the military council. They also condemned the military council’s forced conscription, confiscation of civilian properties, and the displacement of people due to military conflicts.
During this movement, young people and local residents demonstrated their united opposition to the military dictatorship and showed solidarity with those fighting for democracy, freedom, and justice. This activity in Yinmabin Township is part of the nationwide anti-military dictatorship movement and reflects the public’s demands for democracy.
