Revolutionary forces conducted a drone strike on the state government office and minister’s residence in Mawlamyine, Mon State, around 3 PM on June 12, resulting in the deaths of two military officers, according to a spokesperson from the Saw Dragon Drone Force (SDDF). The attack targeted the state government complex, with confirmed hits on the Chief Legal Officer’s residence. While the military forces responded with heavy weapons and counter-drone operations, no civilian casualties were reported in the incident.
The coordinated operation was carried out through collaboration between multiple resistance groups, including the Saw Dragon Drone Force-SDDF, Sha Htoo War Technology Force’s Alpha Bats Drone Force, Sky Worries Drone Force, and local Mon State PDF forces. Following the attack, all revolutionary forces successfully withdrew from the area without casualties, despite retaliatory fire from military forces using heavy weapons and drones. Local sources confirmed that civilian populations in the surrounding areas remained unharmed during the exchange of fire.
