According to statements and reports from People’s Defense Forces, two members of the military council forces were killed during battles and military operations across Myanmar on April 9. This information is based on battle reports and military operation updates released by revolutionary forces from various regions. People’s Defense Forces in different conflict areas systematically document casualties of military council troops within their territories and release this information to the public through their respective information departments.
However, regarding these reported deaths of military council troops, it should be noted that independent journalists do not have access to the conflict areas, making it impossible to directly verify the situation on the ground. Therefore, we clarify that this information is based solely on statements and reports from People’s Defense Forces. In reporting battle news, only actual combat situations will be presented transparently, and casualties from all sides will be reported accurately.
In compiling daily casualty reports of military council forces, information is released only after careful verification based on official statements from defense forces in various regions, comments from information officers, photographic evidence of battles, and video documentation. However, due to current restrictions preventing free access to conflict zones, some information cannot be independently verified on the ground. We want to make it clear that this limitation exists in our reporting process.
