
In Minhla Township, Bago Region, a clash between military council forces and revolutionary forces resulted in the death of two military council soldiers, as confirmed by the Battalion Commander of Battalion No. 3 from Thayarwady District. The confrontation occurred on the evening of June 24 when revolutionary forces encountered military council troops who were attempting to burn down Sanbok village in Minhla Township. During the battle, although the military council forces fired heavy weapons indiscriminately, the revolutionary forces successfully withdrew without any casualties.
Additionally, in Bago Region’s Htonebow and Minhla Townships, two civilians were injured due to artillery attacks by military council forces. On the evening of June 28, Infantry Battalion 6, based in Taimyut village in Htonebow Township, fired heavy weapons into Kantha Ya village, resulting in injuries to a villager named U Naut Bu. Furthermore, on June 29 in the afternoon, military council soldiers fired three artillery shells at Pharlaykin (Taungsu) village in Minhla Township, causing injuries to an elderly woman. These incidents demonstrate the ongoing pattern of military council forces conducting indiscriminate attacks on civilian areas, resulting in casualties among the local population.
