
A drone strike on the Khwet Lei Oo military checkpoint near Singu Kyun town in Salin Township, Magway Region, resulted in the deaths of two military council personnel, including a soldier and a Pyu Saw Htee member, according to an official from the Minbu District Battalion 1. The attack occurred around noon on March 4th. The checkpoint was manned by approximately thirty military council forces, including both soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members at the time of the attack.
The People’s Defense Force (PDF) conducted three separate drone strikes, dropping a total of six bombs on the target. In addition to the two confirmed casualties, several other military council personnel were reported to have sustained injuries in the attack. The operation was carried out through a coordinated effort between the drone units of Minbu District Battalion 1 and the Magway Region drone force. The attacking forces successfully completed their mission and were able to withdraw safely without suffering any casualties.
