
A guard post at the Air Force quarters located on Thiri Mingalar Road in Insein Township, Yangon, was attacked with hand grenades, resulting in injuries to two military council soldiers, according to a statement from Operation Flame. The attack occurred around 7:37 PM on April 11, targeting a strategic military council position. Following the attack, ambulances and military vehicles quickly arrived at the scene, according to local residents’ accounts.
The attack involved the use of two hand grenades, and Operation Flame confirmed that at least two military council soldiers were wounded in the incident. The resistance fighters were able to safely withdraw from the area after the attack. In response, military council forces implemented strict security measures and conducted thorough searches throughout the surrounding area.
Operation Flame has pledged to continue their fight against the military dictatorship in collaboration with other Yangon Revolution Alliance groups. They stated that such attacks are part of their ongoing operations to resist the military dictatorship. The group also indicated that they are closely monitoring military council movements in Insein Township and will continue to conduct operations as necessary. This incident represents another significant strike against military council forces in the ongoing resistance against military rule in Myanmar.
