Resistance forces conducted drone attacks for two consecutive days on military council troops stationed in Plaing village, Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region. According to an official from Ar Lar Wa Ka, the attacks were carried out on April 28 and April 30, resulting in casualties among military council forces. The attacks targeted military council troops who had established a base in the village.
Plaing village is a Pyu Saw Htee village where approximately 18 military council soldiers were stationed, with a local Pyu Saw Htee force of about 200 members. The resistance forces used three drones to drop bombs on buildings occupied by military council troops. After the attacks, witnesses reported hearing explosions, screams, and crying from the target area. The attacking forces confirmed successful hits on military infrastructure, though exact casualty numbers could not be independently verified.
The operation was a joint effort involving multiple resistance groups including Arlarwaka PDF, Monywa District Battalion 4, 5/Commando from Battalion 4 Company 2, Thunder Strike Force from Battalion 8 Company 2, Yanmarpin District Battalion 29 Golden Star Force, Shwebo Township PDF, and local defense forces. The primary objective of these attacks was to apply psychological pressure on military council troops and prevent them from operating freely in the area. Resistance leaders stated that their forces were able to withdraw safely after successfully completing their mission, while confirming damage to military council infrastructure and personnel.
