As the revolution approaches its fifth year, many revolutionaries are experiencing mental and physical burnout. This situation has become a challenge for the revolution and could potentially become an advantage for the enemy, requiring careful attention. Since the revolution began in February 2021, people have sacrificed their lives, property, and livelihoods in the struggle.
Those involved in the revolution joined because they opposed injustice. However, as time has passed, stress and exhaustion have taken their toll. This has led to negative thinking, depression, and loss of motivation. To overcome this situation, it is first necessary to assess one’s mental state. Many are experiencing symptoms of burnout, including pessimism, difficulty concentrating, emotional instability, and loss of interest in regular activities.
There are many ways to recharge mentally and emotionally. These can include playing guitar, singing, taking trips with friends, reading books, watching movies, and reconnecting with old friends. Taking breaks from social media and playing games can also help. Additionally, physical exercise, mental exercises, proper nutrition, and getting adequate sleep are important. These activities should be combined with long-term strategies to prevent burnout, including regular physical and mental health practices.
Revolutionaries are people who love humanity and their community. They are fighting for justice, equality, and freedom. Therefore, during times of depression, they must remember these goals and draw strength from them. To continue the revolutionary journey to its conclusion, they must support and help each other move forward. The struggle requires not just individual resilience but collective support and understanding among those fighting for the same cause. Through mutual support and shared commitment to their values, revolutionaries can overcome burnout and continue their fight for justice and freedom.
