
A drone attack carried out by the People’s Defense Force (PDF) on a military council checkpoint in Ye-U town, Sagaing Region, has resulted in severe injuries to three military council soldiers, according to a responsible official from the Ye-U Township People’s Defense Force. The incident occurred around 2:33 PM on August 5, targeting a checkpoint located in the northern part of Ye-U town where military council troops and over 100 Pyu Saw Htee members were conducting security checks. The attack was precisely executed, targeting the military council forces who have been maintaining the checkpoint to control civilian movement in the area.
According to confirmation from a PDF official in Ye-U Township, the three military council soldiers sustained severe head injuries during the attack and were immediately rushed to a hospital in Ye-U town for emergency treatment. The revolutionary forces who conducted the attack were able to withdraw safely without sustaining any casualties. This operation represents part of the ongoing resistance movement against the military council’s oppressive actions against civilians.
