A senior official from Battalion-15 in Pakokku District has confirmed that three military council soldiers were killed when resistance forces attacked the military council troops stationed at the Planning Office in Myaing Township, Magway Region. The attack took place on April 30th, when revolutionary forces launched an offensive against the military council’s position at the Planning Office. During the battle, three military council soldiers were killed and four others were wounded, while one resistance fighter sustained minor injuries, according to responsible officials.
The attack was led by Pakokku District Battalion-15 and the Dragon Red People’s Defense Force (LPDF), with participation from the Myaing Anya Land Alliance known as Ah Nyar Heroes. According to a Battalion-15 official, the resistance forces had to withdraw due to ammunition shortages during the prolonged engagement, and they were unable to capture weapons from the military council forces. This battle represents one of the ongoing offensive operations by resistance forces against the military council in the Magway Region.
